Item Description
3-7/8x6.75x7/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid and similarly illustrated insert contains watch w/1.25x1.5" dia. chromed metal case and original leather bands w/enameled metal Mickey Mouse attachments. Animated dial, w/Mickey's hands pointing at the numerals. Smaller second hand disc between Mickey's legs that rotates and features three small Mickey images. This 1937 model is the same as the model introduced in 1935, but insert notes raised price of $3.25 (price is printed on insert, not paste-over sticker), an increase from $2.95. Insert also has standee back for store display purposes. Box shows some scattered corner tip/edge wear. Insert has small tears by die-cut slots. Fine/VF overall. Watch shows scattered wear to bezel but retains near full bright luster, Mickey attachments retain near full luster and have much accent paint remaining. Dial is bright and clean. Running and VF example. Leather band version of this watch is seen much less frequently than the metal link band.
