Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard open display box contains 12.5" tall talking hand puppet. Mattel, ©1964 Kayro-Vue Productions. Puppet features Herman Munster w/vinyl hands and head and cloth-costumed body w/built-in voice box. Voice mechanism works but voice is sped up. Typically found not working. Aside from trace of aging to jacket and pants and some trace paint wear to hair, puppet is in choice, Exc. condition. Box is complete, including separate piece to hold puppet in place and box is evenly aged. .5" and 1" tear at top center of box. .75" split along seam at lower right of front display piece, which has some scattered staining. Fine overall. Rare as boxed. One of the nicest Munsters items produced during the show's initial run.
