Item Description
Pair of 10.5" tall soft vinyl head/vinyl body puppets by Ideal, ©1966 NPP, Inc. Batman comes in 5-7/8x8.25x3" deep "Superman-Batman" window box picturing both DC heroes. Puppet was also sold in header card and came with Sears Batman Puppet Theater. Box has some corner tip/edge wear and window remains firmly affixed. Faint stamp at bottom center. Box is missing generic cardboard insert. Top flap window remains firmly affixed and has some creases w/corner splits. Store price sticker on underside of flap. Box is Fine overall. Puppet has small scattered spots of gold paint to body (more noticeable on back) and shows some aging/wear. Head has a few tiny pinpoint spots of paint wear. Fine/VF overall. Boxed versions of these puppets are much rarer than the bagged examples. Robin puppet has scattered spots/streaks of silver paint (again more noticeable on back) and shows some aging/wear. Head shows lt, scattered wear to hair and a few small marks to face. Fine.
