Item Description
9.75x21.5x9" deep box contains 22" long molded soft plastic jalopy by Ideal, ©1963 Filmways TV Production Inc. Box shows scattered wear, w/edge/corner creases and a few small areas of staining, but perforated display portion has not been punched out. .75" surface paper lift on edge of this area and left box ends has small holes/tears from staples/opening box. Fine overall. Includes original instruction sheet/parts list which shows obvious aging/wear w/edge chipping and some scattered insect damage. Just Good. Car comes w/hard plastic figures of Jed, Jethro, Elly May, Granny and Duke the dog. Near complete w/all accessories except for tiny butcher cleaver. Figures show trace paint wear to raised portions and are VF/Exc. overall. Removable windshield frame intact and built-in crank on front is used to wind car has realistic clicking noise. Car works well and moves forward rapidly. Trace oxidation to underside metal compartment that houses spring and gears as well as metal rivets by runner boards but car o/w appears unused and Exc./NM. Hard to find this item complete and w/original box. One of the best Beverly Hillbillies collectibles and about as nice as these come.
