Item Description
2-3/8x4.5x1" deep hinged lid Ingersoll box w/repeat Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow images on the outside and additional image of Mickey on lid interior. Same design as the US box but w/added "Reproduced With The Consent Of Walter E. Disney - This Box Printed And Made In England" text. Box is complete w/plain orange cardboard box insert. Box lid's fragile paper hinge remains intact and box shows corner tip/edge wear w/.5x7/8" spot of surface paper lift to lid. Lid has one corner split and underside of lid has inked gift inscription. Box is VG overall. 2" dia. silvered brass case pocket watch is the second version, produced c. 1934. Watch has celluloid dial featuring a much more traditional-looking Mickey Mouse image than earlier version. Also has second wheel w/three small Mickey images. Watch case retains much luster and shows just lt. scattered wear on back. Dial remains bright and clean. Running and displays Exc. Scarce as boxed.
