Item Description
Lot of three figural ashtrays, each shaped like contour of shoe heel w/raised portrait of Axis figure within. 1940s. Lot includes two similarly design anti-Hitler ashtrays, one painted plaster w/painted "Hitler" name across bottom, the other cast metal w/incised "Jam Your Cigarette Butts On This Heel!" rim text. Plaster version has some scattered aging/wear and is VF overall while metal version has some lt. dust soiling but is o/w Exc. Lot also includes plaster ashtray w/same incised rim text as on metal Hitler ashtray, only w/raised portrait of Tojo within heel. Underside is stamped "Made By The V Crafters - Detroit, Mich." Scattered moderate paint wear w/some small flakes/chips to raised areas. Fine overall. Rare.
