Item Description
8-5/8" dia. by 4.75" tall glazed full-sized china chamber pot w/paint over glaze decoration, text and Hitler caricature on inside bottom of bowl. Made in England by Fieldings, 1940s. Front side has "No. 1 'Jerry'" name and German cross. Inner rim has "Have This On 'Old Nasty'" and "Another Violation Of 'Poland'" text w/Nazi swastikas and German crosses. Caricature Hitler portrait on raised base, which houses wooden base on underside w/attached built-in key to wind music box, which strongly plays "God Save The King." When chamber pot is lifted, music plays. Some lt. scattered aging/wear but still glossy and Exc. overall. There were many different miniature Anti-Axis chamber pots made in England during World War II (see following item), but this is first we've seen of this rare full-size variety in our 52 years.
