7" Silk. 1856. Sullivan & Fischer JB-16A. Striking graphic of a crowd of campaigners around a hill labeled "The Constitution" on which two figures stand atop the "Democratic Platform" each w/a hand on a waving American flag. Additional text reads "The Union It Must Be Preserved". A less than .5" hole just below "Buchanan" that barely affects the design and does not interrupt text.Damp staining in top/bottom margins, scattered vertical fabric pulls and moderate handling wear. VG. Rare.
