Item Description
Large 16.75" tall (20.5" tall to top of cupola) by 19.5" wide by 10.5" deep litho on wood barn set. Unmarked but by Morton EW. Converse Co. of Winchendon, MA. c. 1910. Several different sizes/styles of these farm sets were made by the company, this is model No. 752. Barn has removable roof w/cupola, six stalls, and a separate "stone" lower base. Barn has sliding doors. Also comes w/six die-cut litho wood livestock animals and three sections of all wood folding style fencing. Embossed "Roosevelt Stock Farm" name on roof does not appear to have any direct connection to Theodore Roosevelt and was likely used to capitalize on his popularity at the time. Barn is evenly aged and has some scattered edge/corner tip wear to roof. Roof has some scattered wear to lithography, which appears to have some lt. touch-ups. Barn is Fine overall. Horse has chip under chin and glue repair along 3.75" crack, reattaching it. Both of the sheep have bases glued to figures. Animals are VG to Fine overall. Nicely designed set.
