Item Description
3x8.75x1-1/8" deep cardboard mailer box w/typed recipient name/address label has "Radio's Little Orphan Annie" return address. Box is complete and shows some scattered moisture spotting, but still Fine overall. Comes w/tightly factory-sealed package of Glassips drinking straws by Humitube Mfg. Co. While premium product bears no Orphan Annie markings, premium was issued in 1936 by Ovaltine and was obviously intended for use w/their product. Package has paper insert, but it is unlikely that it bears any Annie references. NM as packaged. While the only mention of Orphan Annie is on mailer and premium itself is generic in nature, this piece more than makes up for it in its rarity, and this is the only known example and the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
