Item Description
Ovaltine Premium. Original mailer envelope w/"Captain Midnight" return address and typed recipient name/address label. Envelope shows scattered wear/aging w/some oxidation to metal clasp. Fine. 4.5x6" manual/code book w/12 pages, contents include Silver Dart Decoder Badge, 15th Anniversary Captain Midnight Ovaltine shaker mug and Flight Commander Silver Signet Ring (see following item). Back cover has Flight Commanders promotion application. Unused. Pinch creases to spine but VF overall. 2.5x3.75" membership card is also unused. NM. 5-1/8x6.25" letter is folded as issued and Exc. 2.5" long bright silver plastic figural decoder badge w/removable red plastic nose piece that pulls out, revealing inner tube for secret messages. Underside has bar pin mounted in a groove and decoder wheel. Tiny silver loss on cockpit canopy but still VF. Comes w/2.25" patch that was issued as a separate premium offer in 1957. Exc.
