Item Description
19x24" w/"King & Baird Printers No. 607 Sansom Street, Philadelphia" at bottom center. Highly detailed etchings of the Republican candidates dominate this bold and rare broadside. Several horizontal tears and tiny holes repaired on reverse w/masking tape most notable are a 2.5" just affecting Grant's shoulder and a 2" in the field right of Colfax. Otherwise horizontal creases throughout and even age toning. VG. Paper remains supple and this amazing survivor would be an excellent candidate for conservation but will frame nicely as is. The first we've seen in 52 years.
