Item Description
2x2.25" original half leatherette case w/gilt mat inscribed "Holmes 289 Broadway." Case has trivial edge and back surface wear. Ambro is superb w/only light emulsion wear. Extremely Fine w/strong contrast and sharpness. We have seen images for Buchanan and Fremont w/matching mats, but this is the first example featuring the 1856 Know Nothing/American Party candidate that we can recall encountering in our 52 years.
