Item Description
9x16.5x6.5" deep box w/illustrated lid and original Styrofoam insert contains 12" long "Dune Buggy" w/hard plastic body w/.049 gas-powered engine. L.M. Cox Manufacturing Co., Inc. 1967. See previous item for 1967 version. Box lid has three "New! Gas Engine Powered" stickers on lid, which shows scattered wear and some scattered surface paper lifts. 1.5x2.25" stain to main lid panel. Box is Fine overall. Dune Buggy has steerable wheels, semi-pneumatic tires and comes w/two instruction sheets (including one for motor), Cox catalog and original store receipt. Toy was never run but small plastic parts that were on sprues such as taillights, headlight lenses, etc. were removed and attached to toy. Parts such as glow plug clip, fuel filter remain bagged. Papers show some wear but toy is NM.
