2.5x3.5". Near complete set of 198, missing only one card #197, the checklist #1. This inaugural issue marked the company's effort to tackle the stronghold held on the football trading card market by Topps. The key HOF members in this set consist of Johnny Unitas (#12), Mike Ditka (#17), Jim Brown (#30), Bob Lilly (#48), Don Meredith (#51), Paul Hornung (#74), Bart Starr (#79), Fran Tarkenton (#109) and Frank Gifford (#117). The key rookie cards in the set consist of John Mackey (#3), Herb Adderley (#71), Willie Davis (#72), Merlin Olsen (#91) and Jim Johnson (#161). Most cards in this set are EX to EX-NM.
