Item Description
Slipcase contains 8.75x10.75" clothbound hardcover w/96 pages, published by Another Rainbow Publishing, Inc. as part of a limited edition of 5,000 in 1984. The first 700 in this edition were published as the "Three Ducks Edition," which included special tip-in bookplate inside front cover which bears photos of three men closely associated w/Donald Duck - Clarence "Ducky" Nash, Carl Barks and Jack Hannah - and has been signed by each. This is number "574" as noted on copyright page. Comes w/introduction letter from Another Rainbow as well as facsimile letters from Nash, Barks and Hannah. Aside from some rippling to cover applique, all is NM. Comes w/envelope w/folder containing glossy bw photo signed by Carl Barks that was issued for Diamond Comic Distributors' 10th Annual Retailers Seminar, June 5-8, 1993. Photo has low individual edition number "4/1092." Comes w/photo of Barks signing in his studio as well as 8.5x11" four-page folder promoting "Carl Barks: A Living Legend Commemorative Art Exhibit" at the event, which included 41 paintings on display. Mint. Comes with Hake's COA.
