Item Description
Lot of two, each is 8x10". ©1938. Picture is on card stock. #2 from a set of five. Title is "The Lone Ranger Licks Kester." ACC# R83-2. Not only were these issued prior to the 1940 Gum Inc. card set, they feature art that was not reproduced on any of those cards. Text back variety that includes info pertaining to that particular picture scene, list of all five titles and information on how these were obtained. The pictures were available in different configurations, from individually for five wrappers and 3¢, up to a complete set of five for 25 wrappers and 10¢. Tiny corner tip wear and lt. trace of aging. Still a clean and NM example. The rare two-sided promo sheet is on paper. The five pictures are featured on the front in an overlap design. The back has detailed text to "Boys And Girls...Friends Of The Lone Ranger" noting how the pictures were obtained. Lt. margin wear. EX/NM. We have only offered a few of these sheets in our 53 years.
