Item Description
3.75x6.75x7/8" deep box contains New Haven watch w/1x1-3/8" silver luster metal case. ©1948 News Syndicate Co., Inc. Box lid has Chester Gould profile illustration of Dick Tracy and Dick Tracy Jr., complete w/original matching insert, warranty paper and inspection slip. Lid has corner tip wear w/some scattered staining and edge wear but remains tight. VG/Fine. Insert has some small tears at die-cut slots but is o/w VF. Original leather bands show no wear, and appears to have never been worn and watch still has original "New Haven $6.95" foil price tag in place by winding stem. Dial has image of Dick Tracy from knees up w/"Dick Tracy" name across his waist. Dial exhibits typical aging/wear in the form of tiny pinpoint spots, which happens even to these unused examples. Case retains fresh, full luster and watch is running. VF.
