Item Description
1.25" dia. cello button with no maker name or backpaper. In addition to "The Shadow Is No More" text, design includes outline of The Shadow w/large hat and cape and additional "Room 515" text designation." c. 1930s-40s. A new discovery to the hobby, this is just the second example known to us, the other example was featured in Hake's "Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" as item #SHA-13. We offered that button in our March 2012 auction where it sold for $8,418. Back of button has some trace oxidation while front remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. As rare and desirable as any vintage Shadow item, as well as any hero-related pinback button.
