Item Description
Pair of 4.5" dia. by 2" tall porcelain rice bowls made in Japan exclusively for the Japanese market. 1966. One bowl has lt. blue exterior w/hand-painted image of Batman from the waist up w/opposite side bearing batsymbol w/"Batman" name in Japanese kanji characters. White bowl features full body images of Batman (in interesting and different color scheme) and Robin. Both have gold luster accent rings around bottom (and on inside of Batman/Robin dish). Both remain glossy. White dish is Exc. while lt. blue is NM. Both are rare; Batman/Robin dish is first we've offered in our 53 years.
