Item Description
Figural painted plaster lamp is 3x3.5x7.25" tall to the top of Snow White, 9.75" tall to top of socket. La Mode Studios, ©1938 WDE. Incised "Snow White" name on back of cape collar. Underside of lamp has original felt covering as well as complete original paper label w/company name and Disney copyright. A working example w/original electric cord and plug; silk outer cord wrapping has a few frayed areas and should be rewired. Scattered glaze nicks/flakes to hands, nose and mouth as well as bow and dress. The glossy thin cardboard shade has bottom dia. of 8" and height of 5.75". Features image of Snow White w/forest animals. Shade is rare, this the first example we've seen in our 53 years. Shade has even moderate aging and has a few hairline creases; .5" and .75" line punctures on side opposite of Snow White image. Lamp and shade are Fine overall.
