Item Description
8.25x11" stiff cardboard cover book published in Spain, 1935. This is a Spanish printing by Tallerse Offset of the French book by Hachette. It is an abridged reprint of the 1932 "Mickey Mouse Sails For Treasure Island" daily strip by Floyd Gottfredson. Front cover features image of worried looking Mickey as stereotypical African native creeps up on him. Back cover is blank. Book features reprints of Gottfredson's strips w/Spanish text below. Box has even moderate aging and shows scattered wear w/spine wear/creases and corner tip foxing. Pages have a few small faint stains and some corner creases. VG/Fine overall. While the French Hachette books are rare, the Spanish issues are even rarer, this the first we've offered in our 53 years.
