Pair of books published in Spain, 1930s. 9.5x12.5" book is Spanish version of Whitman's linen-like book w/12 stiff paper pages w/choice large story art on every page, different illustrations on front/back covers (including Wise Little Hen's mailbox being updated to Spanish name). Donald Duck's official debut was in the 1934 hardcover version of this title. This book features Donald Duck on four pages. Book is aged and has pinch creases and wear to spine w/corner tip wear and corner creases to pages. VG/Fine. 4.5x6" coloring book from Spanish series of coloring books; this is No. 10 in series and features full color example pages w/opposite page to color. All have been neatly colored as intended. Book shows moderate cover wear w/corner foxing. VG. Both are very rare and first we've seen of either in our 53 years.
