Item Description
Pair of tin litho sand pails. 3" tall (5.25" tall to top of raised handle) pail made in Mexico by Litolamina, S.A., 1950s. Features boating scene w/Goofy piloting boat w/Daisy and Pluto w/Grandma Duck sitting on prow. Donald Duck knocks Uncle Scrooge and nephews off boat as he waterskiis. Gladstone Gander can be seen floating in inner tube. Pail shows scattered wear w/some unevenness to rim, which shows some bare metal. Sides have some minor denting and small spot of tape residue on overturned boat image. Still displays Fine. Scarce and one of the few pieces of vintage merchandise to feature lesser known members of the Duck Family. 5" tall (8" to top of raised handle) tin litho pail w/pedestal base features vintage 1930s style graphics was made in France, c. 1960s. © WDP and marked "Virojanglor Paris - Made In France." Beach scene depicts Mickey Mouse w/nephews, who are shown tying Donald Duck's clothing in a knot. Donald has an angry reaction to this while Goofy relaxes nearby. Pail has some loss to silver flashing on interior and pedestal base. Exterior remains glossy and pail is still Fine overall. Scarce foreign pair.
