Item Description
Child's size 14 "Spring Needle Knit Quality Fabric" heavy long-sleeved sweatshirt. Body area is 15x24" with 51.5" armspan. Chest area has silk-screened (not iron-on transfer) design featuring classic image of Captain Marvel throwing a fighter plane with comic book title logo below. Just above this is original 1.5x2.5" "Flagg Sweatshirt" label. ©1945 Fawcett Publications, Inc. Lightest trace of wear to silk-screened design but still quite bold. Unworn w/some lt. aging as stored over the years. VF/Exc. overall. Very rare w/tag still in place and one of only few known examples as such.
