Item Description
4" to 7.5" tall by Stangl pottery. 1934. Produced to celebrate the repeal of prohibition. Two of the six mug set are included, one featuring FDR (inner rim chip that occurred in manufacturing) and the other Al Smith (two inner rim chips and a 2" vertical hairline). Pitcher has two tiny chips; one affecting rim of FDR's glasses and the other on the back end of the spout. Fine to VF. Uncommon. Mike Nichols Collection.
