Item Description
Issued in 1963 and ©Universal Pictures Co. Inc. ACC# R708-14. Pack is 2.75x4.75". Wrapper feature Creature From The Black Lagoon. Pack opened w/1" tear on back flap but contents remain including broken gum. The pair of booklets inside (19 and 20) are still attached at perforations as issued. Pack has scattered wear, tiny tears at corners. VG/EX. In addition to the flip books in the pack, lot also has near set, 35 or 36 (missing only #31). Each is 2.25x2.5 "single" book w/32 pages. Each has same front cover border design of "Monster" art by Jack Davis along w/book title and scene description. Pages feature actual bw film scenes. Films represented are: Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Wolf Man and The Creature From The Black Lagoon. #5 shows wear w/1" cover tear and staples added to bottom margin. All others show just slight trace of aging but are tight and clean copies. Mostly NM. A sought after issue for both Monster and Non-Sports card collectors.
