Item Description
27.75x41" one sheet movie poster for the original American release of English comedy musical war film "Let George Do It" starring popular British singing actor George Formby. Poster features great Anti-Hitler graphics showing caricature of Hitler being punched, a reference to a dream Fromby's character has in the film. Lower right corner features small image of a German U-Boat, which Formby snuck aboard in the film, w/comical results. Poster was printed by Globe Poster Corp. of Chicago, IL. Poster was originally folded and has now been linen-mounted. Poster shows wear along fold lines and at fold crease intersections w/pin holes at corners and along margins. Spot of stainng at Hitler's ear. Fine overall.
