Item Description
16.75x21.75" poster features cartoon image of "B&L Bond Boyer" playing pool w/anti-Japanese "Put The Yellow Ball In The Corner Pocket." Yellow ball has a stereotypical depiction of Japanese soldier heading toward flaming corner pocket as tiny devil stokes the flames. Poster was displayed in Bausch & Lomb factories, who produced various optical items for the war effort. Sign promotes putting aside 10% of pay to buy bonds, noting that this would get you the button. 1940s. Poster has been rolled and has some scattered margin wear to top and bottom including staple holes. Fine/VF overall.
