Item Description
Original cardboard box w/nicely illustrated lid contains 9.5" long mostly tin litho car. Made in Taiwan, c. 1970s. Box shows some wear to lid w/small puncture and some edge/corner creases and corner tip wear. Fine. Red color variety was also produced in a 11.75" long size w/larger box featuring different graphics and not picturing Batmobile in red color. Car is designed w/hard plastic canopy that includes simulated warning light unit plus back has exhaust port and tubes. Tin litho Batman and Robin figures have movable hard vinyl heads, detailed interior includes red Batphone and exterior detailing includes "Batman" illustrated comic book title logo on hood and "Batmobile" name on each side door plus batsymbols on hubcaps. Toy features bump-and-go action (which no longer works) as well as "Blinking Warning Light And Jet Engine Noise" that works. NM as boxed. Scarce red color.
