Item Description
Complete set of 10 10x15" envelopes released by Russ Cochran and ©1979-1985 William M. Gaines. Each envelope is comprised of EC Comics book title w/prints of famous covers that have been colored by original EC color artist Marie Severin. Titles and amount of covers are - "The Vault Of Horror" (29); "Tales From The Crypt" (30); "The Haunt Of Fear" (28); "Weird Science" (22); "Weird Science-Fantasy" (11); "Weird Fantasy" (22); "Crime SuspenStories" (27); "Panic" (12), Two-Fisted Tales" (24) and "Front Line Combat" (15). Artists include Johnny Craig, Al Feldstein, Wally Wood, Jack Kamen, George Evans, Harvey Kurtzman, John Severin, Jack Davis and Bill Elder. Envelopes have scattered margins aging w/"The Haunt Of Fear" envelope showing more moderate aging. Fine to VF overall. Five envelopes remain sealed. Contents are NM/Mint as issued. An instant collection.
