Item Description
Pair of 7" tall painted metal Scotties embossed with "Texaco Scotty" on bottom of each. c. 1940s. One wears 1" dia. medal with images of both dogs, the Texaco logo and the word "Listen" below. This refers to Texaco Star Theater, a popular variety show which ran first on radio from 1940 to 1948 and then on television from 1948 to 1956. It was on this show that Milton Berle rose to fame. Light surface dust. Exc.
