Item Description
From same 1942 Bassons Dummy Products series as previous item. Marketed as "Ram Bunk Shush-Benito" as seen on accompanying original string tag w/comical verse, ashtray has incised designer name on back of base along w/patent number. Bassons also produced matching Hirohito and Hitler ashtrays (see previous and following items) as part of this series. Scattered wear to cheek and top edge of cap. Ashtray interior shows wear from use. Fine/VF overall. Tag is evenly aged w/some trace insect damage, creasing and has inking on back. VG. Scarce, especially w/string tag.
