Item Description
12.5x22.25" framed ad sign with nice portrait of professional golfer Alex Smith. Shows him wearing brimmed hat with golf club over shoulder. Smith won the 1910 US Open and was a friend of Bobby Jones. On ad, his name is noted along with "Professional Westchester-Biltmore C.C." and quote "Luckies Are The Surest 'Hole-In-One' In The Smoke World - They're Mild." c. 1920s. Left and right-hand sides each have some 2" to 3" creases which are only noticeable upon close inspection. Faint horizontal crease runs through center of ad, only noticeable in reflected light. Overall Exc. display as framed. $200- $300
