Item Description
Pair of approx. 16x16x.25" thick silk-screened plywood target boards. Both Faithorn Co., early 1940s. "Get Those Japs - Smack In The Pants" features battlefield scene of Japanese officer raising bloody sword as soldiers run for cover from air raid bombs and approaching Allies. Each stereotypical Japanese soldier has one (or two) Rising Sun targets on clothing. Board shows obvious wear to silk-screened image and has corner tip off lower right and smaller corner off back of lower left corner. VG. "Bomb The Jap Off The Map" features map of Japan w/factories and nearby ships each bearing game points. Upper left has V for Victory design. Scattered moderate wear w/some scattered aging. Board shows corner tip wear and has 1" sliver off bottom center. VG/Fine.
