Item Description
13x22.75" (11-3/8x13" folded) newspaper prop, the Oct. 31, 2016 copy of "The Washington Herald" as seen in Season 5, Episode 2 of Netflix's hit show "House Of Cards" when President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is the Oval Office and starting a fire in the fireplace. Underwood describes the need for "tinder" to start the fire and he refers to the Washington Herald as "garbage," given the negative coverage he is receiving from the newspaper. Prop is single page section, w/front page having "Committee To hold Hearing On Underwood's Request For War" headline alongside image of Underwood. Exc. Comes w/copy of the original COA from MRC (Media Capital Rights), the production company of the Netflix series as well as Hake's Auctions COA.
