Item Description
"The Air Adventures Of Jimmie Allen" thrilled its radio listeners from 1933 to 1947. A plethora of premiums and promotional items were made for a variety of sponsors. All items in this lot are from the 1930s and issued by the West Coast sponsor Richfield Oil. "Smalls" in this lot are: three different metal wings badges, "Merit Award" badge, metal bracelet. There is a felt aviator's cap. Paper items are: two different club letters, membership card, two different blotters, sticker, postcard, radio booklet, Christmas card, Pilot's Creed, "Chapter 2" club newspaper, two different sets of flight lessons (five lessons per set w/different cover designs but same content), flight chart. Scattered wear/aging but overall mostly Fine to Exc. An extensive, instant collection, the most impressive such grouping to ever come to auction. Many items are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
