Item Description
18x23.5" letter press on thin paper by "Bucks County Intelligencer Steam-Power Job Print Doylestown, PA." Advertising an 1880 campaign event "At Newville, On Monday, October 11." Outstanding graphic of eagle perched on an American shield w/banner in its beak reading "Garfield And Arthur!" Horizontal center fold w/a 4" and 2.5" separation at l/r respectively. Tiny hole at top right affecting the top of the "!" and at bottom left affecting the "A" in "A Lloyd." Otherwise moderate edge wear w/tiny margin tears and minor losses. Fine. No restoration. This exceptional 1880 campaign broadside is an amazing survivor w/strong graphics and content making it a true standout.
