Item Description
From same foreign series as two previous items, however this Catwoman glider had no US counterpart and features mold design unique to this Argentina version. Card features same "The Flying Batman" design as Batman version. Card has staple holes at top left w/two rusted staples at top right and center. Card shows scattered handling wear w/creases along bottom. Card is Fine. Glider is clearly modeled after Julie Newmar's depiction of Catwoman on "Batman" and was given cape/wings for purpose of toy. Ankles have moderate cracks but body o/w remains structurally sound. VG/Fine. Rare and first we've offered in our 53 years. Very little 1960s merchandise featured Catwoman and this is the only vintage figural piece we know of. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
