22x24". Cotton. 1888. Threads of History plate #550 on p.245. Featuring a 3/4 length portrait of Cleveland w/vignettes of roses, the White House, U.S. Capitol building, an eagle, and Liberty Bell. Edge fraying most notably two small losses affecting border pattern at lower left. Otherwise a few scattered light brown moisture marks most notably at lower right or portrait and affecting the Capitol at bottom right. VG. Still an impressive display piece that has a commanding presence and is among the most highly sought Cleveland textiles.
