Item Description
18" square. Similar design to Threads of History plate #904 on p.361 but here without advertising imprint and featuring a colorful border. Graphic of elephant at bottom right carrying a banner w/text "A Big Man For A Big Office A Big Party To Elect Him." Paper seal w/pen and pencil notations affixed at lower right, one each vertical and horizontal crease and moisture marks including at bottom right that just affect the edge of graphic and at top right of cream field. Otherwise moderate handling and faint even age toning. Fine. First we've seen w/this attractive border.
