Item Description
18x24 on tan card stock w/"Pontiac, IL" union bug. Text reads "Roosevelt! At Pontiac 4:15PM, Saturday, April 6, 1912 Will Speak From Court House Square." Roosevelt toured Illinois via train while attempting a comeback seeking the GOP nomination. Moisture stains at bottom corners, horizontal creases from being rolled, vertical handling wrinkles and a tiny horizontal tear in margin at bottom left. Fine. A rare survivor from this pre-Progressive Party tour as TR sought the GOP nomination.
