Item Description
11x14" on cardboard w/"Boston, Mass" union bug and "Rapid Service Press" at lower right. "Issued By The Republican Club Of Massachusetts" at bottom left. A youthful portrait of Coolidge w/office full name and "Of Northampton" below. Minor edge and corner wear w/only faint scattered age toning. Extremely Fine. Very few artifacts of Coolidge's Lt. Gov. campaign we produced. This is only the second example we've encountered of the striking poster in 53 years. An important artifact of Coolidge's impressive political rise through the state ranks starting as a member of a local Republican Club and including City Council, City Solicitor, County Clerk, Chairman of the local Republican Party organization, State Legislature, Mayor of Northampton, State Senator, Lieutenant Governor, Governor, Vice President and President. Mike Nichols Collection.
