Item Description
First is 2-7/8x3-5/8" consisting of thin paper color print on 1/32" cardboard on 1/16" sheet of silvered glass. Glass has lost silvering around narrow edge with couple spots gone but over 90% intact. Paper has "Souvenir of Cincinnati" gold foil sticker and "Copr. C. Moss 1942". Light age. Fine. Second is 3" wide cello covered mirror with near 100% silvering. Tiny age dot on each of left two corners. Exc. overall. Last is 1-7/8" celluloid with underside cello edge holding mirror which has one 3/16" dark spot. Cello has lost a little color but quite clean. This is our second with first coming from a scrapbook of soldier who worked as a stenographer in MacArthur's office in the Philippines Oct. 1944-June 1945. His notation was "Mirrors Dropped By Planes In Philippines Prior To Re-Occupation By Allied Forces". Second seen. Fine. All three are rare. John Pendergrass Collection.
