Item Description
12x14" silk screen on thin cream paper. C.1969. Tape stains on reverse and scattered minor moisture marks. Handling wear consistent w/moderate use. VG but will frame to Fine. Text taken from the Amiri Baraka poem "Black People!" and was used by a variety of civil rights and anti-Vietnam war groups from "The Motherfuckers" to the Black Panther Party in the late 1960s. We aren't entirely sure what group produced this poster but given its odd size and hand pulled screen printing very few were likely produced and this is the first we've encountered.
