Item Description
10x13x1" deep vacuform plastic attached to cardboard backing (w/hole as made for hanging). Designed like a framed picture w/high relief portrait of Frankenstein. Simulated plaque on front reads "Third Place Master Monster Maker Contest 1964 - Sponsors Aurora Plastic Corp. - Universal Pictures Co. Inc. - Famous Monsters Of Filmland Magazine." The winning models in this contest were featured in "Famous Monsters Of Filmland Magazine" #32. Each level of award featured different color text (first place = gold, second place = silver, third place = bronze). Cardboard backing has aging and some scattered wear. Small area of inking at bottom left. Vacuform plastic has tiny faint rub to eyebrow, nose and chin and some lt. corner tip wear but is free of any cracks and is about as nice as these come. VF/Exc. Frankenstein image is striking. All the prizes from this contest are rare and we've only offered a few in our 53 years.
