Item Description
8.5x11" on thin white stock. The Southern University incident occurred Nov. 16, 1972, after several weeks of students protesting inadequate services they marched on University President Leon Netterville's office. Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards sent 300 police officers in to break up the demonstrations and a still unidentified, officer fired a shot gun killing Leonard Brown and Denver Smith. This flyer promotes a rally in San Fransisco ten days after. Only light handling wear and minor age. Exc.
