Item Description
All 2.5x3.5". The 1972 Topps football set was the first and only football issue to ever have three different series and the third series is the most scarce of the three. PSA graded cards from the set are #93 Ted Hendricks RC EX-MT 6, #200 Roger Staubach RC EX 5, #291 Steve Spurrier RC EX-MT 6, #331 Mercury Morris NM 7, #343 Joe Namath In Action EX-MT 6 and #351 Ken Willard In Action EX-MT 6. Other notable keys and rookie cards in the set are Archie Manning (#55), Lyle Alzado (#106), L.C. Greenwood (#101), Charlie Joyner (#244), Gene Upshaw (#186), Emmitt Thomas (#157), Larry Little (#240), Rayfield Wright (#316), and Ron Yary (#104). Most of the non-PSA graded cards in the set fall between EX-NM in condition. One of the more difficult Topps Football sets to complete.
