Item Description
4x23". c. 1915. Reverse has ink inscription "This Band Was Worn Around A Hat In A Parade Down Broadway In New York City. Women Did Not Have A Vote At The Time." Purported to have been worn by vaudeville actress Nina Carleton. Three vertical folds and scattered light brown toning throughout. Fine. A terrific suffrage artifact that stands among the most iconic of the era.
