Item Description
2-1/8".  No back paper as issued but with American Art Works on curl. Depicts Kansas University mascot Jayhawk perched on sprawling  University of Missouri tiger. The hawk uses its beak to twist the tiger's tail into a loop as the tiger wails.  Circular surrounding text reads "Oh Me! Oh My!  Won't We Black That Tiger's Eye! /Won't He Weep! /Won't He Wail! /When We Twist That Tiger's Tail." Button surface is very slightly convex as made. In reflected light, a very small air spot at 2 o'clock and a line of air crosses the tiger's center two legs growing to about .25" wide where it reaches the rim edge at 7 o'clock. These marks are very minor and button has little actual wear plus great color and gloss.  One of four known to us. Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
